Not going to say the pan isn't a good pan. But all it is is stamped stainless steel with a stamped stainless steel handle and a stamped stainless steel lid. It's stupid simple and so overpriced. It's not non-stick, which is ok. And it takes longer to heat up than cast iron, which is also ok. But considering the price, I would expect so much more. The handle is uncomfortable and the steel is so thick it takes for ever to heat up. For this money, you can get a Le Creuset that's cast iron so it heats up fast and stores heat, ceramic coated, so it's easy to clean, and weighs about the same.
