I was hoping I could cancel my Dropbox paid account by having access to my computer files on my phone. But it takes forever for me to access my files. I just get the continuous circle around the cloud while it tries to access the Western Digital servers. Sometimes it takes 10-15 minutes before I can get in and look at my files by then it's way too late to be of use. With Dropbox I get instantaneous access to my files. Western Digital just doesn't cut it. In the meantime I spent a lot of money and didn't get what I was promised.
The WD SmartWare software allows you to backup your computer to a Dropbox account, or backup your Dropbox account to the My Cloud. These are features and functionality provided by SmartWare in collaboration with and supported by Dropbox.
