We used an IKEA Bekvam spice rack. To fit the bottles in double wide, we had to modify the shelves. It was just a smidge too small. We moved the wood down from the “inside” front and installed our own dowel on the outside to allow the 2nd row of spices. One box of 48 jars fits three Bekvam shelves perfectly at 8 by 2, 16 per shelf (no empty spaces and no extra bottles) when modified as pictured (just installed so we are waiting for wood putty to dry before sanding). If you don’t modify, you’ll only get 8 per shelf, maybe a bit more if you play Tetris with them and turn some sideways.
The labels aren’t paper (maybe a thinner vinyl or similar), so I expect they’ll last a while. The spice topper (the part with the holes) is also well constructed and heavy plastic. Overall I am very happy with these!
I did not test leak proof abilities with anything liquid, but it’s definitely not leaking spices.
I love these. I was expecting thin ($ store quality) glass jars and figured some would be broken upon arrival. I was pleasantly surprised. No breaks/chips at all and we’re nicely packaged. They are heavier weighted glass than expected as well and should hold up nicely.
