I had to buy this book for a class I'm taking to learn Revit Architecture 2012. The book is poorly written, with lots of spelling and grammar mistakes. I can live with that. But the worst part is, that when you are following the steps to learn something, you will find that some steps are missing or that the instructions given by the author do not really work. For example in Chapter 3 where we learn how to design a stair case and a guard rail, an entire portion is missing, leaving the student with a badly designed staircase with no landing. The screen shots are also not very clear. Sometimes its hard to figure out where the author wants us to clickwhat exactly we should select) or what dimensions she wants us to use. Often times we (my classmates and our instructor) had to improvise. Considering the other books available on the market, and their pricing, this book is way over priced ($75 for this book vs $50 for other Revit books). I really hope this book is thoroughly revised.
