I ordered this cooling rack because of the description that it was stainless steel, and would be easy to clean and take care of. When I received the product, I found that only the supporting framework is stainless steel. The wire mesh on top appears to be a coated wire mesh and not real stainless steel. It's hard to wash because the coating on the wire mesh is rough and sponges get snagged in the rough parts. I used the rack today and it works well cooling baked goods seem to get stuck to the wire mesh.
