I was really disappointed, especially for a $40 mixer. The motor was "grindy," the speed switch was loose and cheap, the beaters were thin & flimsey, arrived bent out of the box and unbalanced, so they wobbled badly. The part of the case under the silver band has a razor sharp edge exposed that could easily cut skin. Really bad quality overall. Sent it back and found another that had the best ratings, was $10 less and has 10 speeds, a much smoother and more powerful motor, a tight, precision speed switch, came with heavy duty stainless steel beaters and dough hooks, and it came with a stand.
