Here's how to sprout:

1) Pick a bean/seed (Mung Beans are my favorite, or garbanzo, black eyed peas, lentils, etc)

2) Fill a wide-mouth mason jar about 1/6 full of beans

3) Rinse the seeds off a couple times, using sprouting lid to strain out the water

4) Fill the jar almost full of water, and let the beans soak for 12-24 hours

5) Strain out the water

6) Rinse and drain beans a couple times a day until they are sprouted (1-3 days, depending on bean/seed)

7) Voila! Inexpensive, delicious, nutritious sprouts! Use on sandwiches, salads, pastas, or just pop 'em like peanuts!

These sprouting lids are the best in their class. There is no option that is easier or more reliable. Enjoy!
