Unfortunately I placed the plate on a table with combustible material. In the evening I noticed smoke 🤔. Turns out papers and remote had slipped down on the plate and turned it on 😱. The papers were smoldering and the back of my TV remote was melted. If I hadn't been there a 🔥 would have occurred. Be very careful about the combustible materials anywhere near the hot plate!! I turn the power to the plate off if not in use 💡.
For my second cup of coffee, I had to use less than a full cup because it would get cool. Now I use full cup and the temperature is perfect to last drop!!!
