I have thick, coarse, frizzy hair that I do get straightened professionally. I am a senior citizen with arthritic hands and could never deal with a hairbrush and a blow dryer at the same time. (Even in my younger days.) I had looked at this for a long time, read all the reviews and finally treated myself after Christmas. I actually did not realize how big the brush part would be. I was sure I could not handle this after I saw the styler in person. But I gave it a try. Hello! Professional results! Fast drying, easy to use, smooth, styled, shiny hair. I kept waiting for it to frizz! I let my wet hair dry slightly using a microfiber turban while I did my makeup. Put in my usual leave-in conditioner and used a spray heat protectant and went to work drying my hair. I could not believe how simple using the brush was. I even use it now just to touch up my bangs on a day I don’t shampoo my hair. I find the styler comfortable in weight and do not notice a loud motor as many have stated.
