A very sharp looking console to play a very sharp looking game! Could not ask for more!

This is one sharp looking console. This is the newer model and slightly thinner PS4 and the artwork is very well done and looks great. The game included is a physical copy, case and all. My copy did not have a game manual inside of the box--however I believe that is the norm these days. The quick start manual was actually very useful and setup time was under ten minutes.

The set comes with everything you need to get up and running immediately:
*Uncharted themed console
*Blue/grey controller
*HDMI cable ( ~8ft - Not gold plated)
*Power adapter cable (~5ft)
*USB controller cable (~5ft)
*Mic/headset that plugs into controller (~4ft)
*PS4 manual
*Quickstart guide for setting up the console
*Sealed copy of Uncharted 4

Pros:
*Great looking console.
*Came with everything needed to get going out of the box.
*Physical copy of uncharted 4

Cons:
None

Other Considerations:
If you want the PS4 hardwired to the internet you will need to provide your own cat 5e or cat 6 cable. This set--understandably--does not come with one. If you do not have a cable you can connect to a network via the wireless NIC inside of the PS4. If you have Wireless N or AC it should be pretty comparable to being wired. The great benefit to being hardwired is slightly better latency(especially in wireless congested areas) and easier--really zero--setup time.
Another thing to consider is the fact that this package does NOT contain a vertical stand. If you want one it has to be purchased separately.

Great Design, Only One Problem...

I ordered this console around Nov. 12th and I absolutely love the design. This is my first time having a console in years and so far I've only had one problem and it happened this morning, I accidently left my ps4 on rest mode last night, and when I went to play this morning the light was not on, and when I tried to boot up I heard the beep from the console, and the blue light turned on, however after a couple of seconds the light turned off and the screen never showed up on my tv. I tried doing the same thing 2 more time, then I unplugged the power cord from the console waited a couple of minutes and plugged it back in. When I clicked the button, the scrrent booted up and the console worked and I was able to play my game. The reason I mention this is because I know that there were similar problems with other people and this console edition similar to mine, and now I'm worried that this might be a recurring problem. I will update if there has been any other problems.

My Uncharted 4 model had issues

I was excited to order my first Next Gen console. I decided to spend a little extra to get the Uncharted 4 edition since I'd rather play that than Call of Duty. I read some reviews but not all of them.

After placing my order I read a bunch of bad Amazon reviews. My mistake for not doing that before. A lot said this model has issues. I crossed my fingers that mine would work fine. Received my PS4 and everything was great the first week.

The following week, I had been gone two days for work. When I came home, I wanted to use my PS4. I pressed the power button. It beeped then nothing. It stopped responding. I plugged it for a few minutes then tried it. It worked after that. It became frequent after that. Eventually, it progressed to turning off while I was using it.

I contacted PlayStation support. The guy told me it sounded like a power supply issue. They sent me a box to ship it to them for repairs but advised since the console was so new that it would be faster to return. I opted to return it.

I plan on reordering another PS4 but not this model. Read the bad reviews for this model and order with caution. The PS4 is great otherwise.

I was skeptical to buy this product due to the reviews. Some people commented that the unit just powered off and wouldn't come back on. Because of the price, I figured I would take my chances. I received it and haven't had a single issue as of yet, and it has been about two months. The first month, I used it nonstop just to make sure if it was going to go bad I would be covered by the 30 day warranty. Overall, I have no complaints. The Uncharted skin looks amazing, and the unit plays well. I did experience a few glitches, but I attribute that to the particular game and not the system, as all of the other games played fine. Overall, I would recommend this product. I will update my review if I experience any of the problems previous people have commented about.

This PS4 looks great and I love the custom decals on both the controller and on the console itself. I have had some weird issues where the console will randomly shut down and not restart until it is unplugged for a few minutes, and boots up with a hard drive check. This would make me think it is suddenly losing power and shutting down to protect itself, but I have not had this problem with any other consoles or computers, so it seems to be something to do with the PS4. This is not a huge problem and generally only happens once a month, so I have had a pretty great experience with it so far.

Worth the risk

I took a chance back in March and ordered this console despite the bad reviews of faulty consoles. I am an avid lover of the Uncharted series and this console is an excellent addition to my collection. It started up immediately with no problems. I haven't had a single isue with it not turning on or any of the other problems others have had. It runs games beautifully and apps smoothly. It always boots up within seconds. I'm simply in love with it five months later. If you're willing to take a risk on this console it's absolutely worth it.
