International customers can purchase Kindle devices and Kindle content from the following marketplaces.

Kindle Paperwhite for customers residing in the U.S. is covered by our Kindle Paperwhite One-Year Limited Warranty. Extended warranties for Kindle Paperwhite are also available.

Kindle devices shipped to destinations outside the United States are covered by the Kindle Limited Warranty. Extended warranty coverage is not available to customers living outside the United States.

Newspapers and magazines available to customers living outside the United States may not contain associated images, tables or graphics if downloaded using 3G. Use Wi-Fi to download the full version available in your country. Blogs are not available to customers living outside the United States.

View and Update Your Country or Region

To shop the Kindle Store for titles available for your country or region, set the country or region in Manage Your Content and Devices.

We'll display your country or region at the top of the Kindle Store so you know that you're browsing the catalog of titles available for your country or region. Availability and pricing of titles can vary by country.

  2. If the displayed country is incorrect under Country Settings, click Change.
  3. Select an existing home address from your Amazon account or enter a new one.
  4. When you're finished, click Update.

Using Wireless Outside the United States

Customers living or traveling outsidethe United States can shop in the Kindle Store and receive books and periodicals wirelessly. Books are generally delivered in less than 60 seconds, but download times can vary based on Wi-Fi network settings, 3G or EDGE/GPRS coverage, signal strength, and file size.

With Kindle Paperwhite 3G, you can travel the globe and still get books in under 60 seconds. Kindle Paperwhite 3G uses GSM technology, the most popular mobile wireless standard, supplying wireless coverage in over 100 countries and territories. Kindle Personal Documents Service

Kindle Personal Documents Service makes it easy to take your personal documents with you, eliminating the need to print. Kindle Personal Documents Service allows you to:

  • Read your personal documents on your Kindle Paperwhite. You and your approved contacts can send personal documents to your Kindle Paperwhite using your Send-to-Kindle e-mail address.
  • Store your personal documents in Your Kindle Library. You can view and download your archived personal documents on your Kindle Paperwhite conveniently anywhere, at any time. These documents will be stored in Your Kindle Library until you delete them from Manage Your Content and Devices.
  • Create notes, highlights, and bookmarks on your personal documents. These notes, highlights, and bookmarks, along with your last page read, are synced across your supported registered Kindle devices using Amazon Whispersync technology.
