Join Prime Student

Students currently enrolled in a college or university who have a valid .edu e-mail address can join Prime Student.

  1. Go to Prime Student sign-up.
  2. Submit the sign-up form.
  3. Click the verification link in the e-mail we send to confirm your e-mail address and complete the sign-up process.
Important: If you’re an existing Amazon Mom member, your current Prime membership will end and you’ll be refunded for the unused portion of this membership, unless your current membership was received as a gift. You’ll no longer be eligible for Amazon Mom benefits, such as 20% off diapers ordered through Subscribe & Save.

Note:

  • If your .edu e-mail address isn't listed on your Amazon.com account, that's OK. The only e-mail we'll send to your .edu e-mail address is the verification e-mail.
  • If you don't receive the verification e-mail, go to this page and follow the steps to re-send the confirmation e-mail. To prevent Amazon.com's e-mail from going to your spam or junk folder, add amazon-student@amazon.com to your contacts or safe list.
  • Current Amazon Prime members that sign-up for Prime Student will receive a refund for the remaining months left on their current Amazon Prime subscription. You'll no longer have access to certain Amazon Prime benefits during your 6-month trial such as Prime Music, and Kindle Owners' Lending Library unless you sign up for a paid plan. You will no longer have access to select shopping discounts such as 20% off diapers and 15% Baby Registry Completion discount.
