You can download Prime Music titles for offline playback on compatible mobile devices.

Compatible Devices for Offline Playback

Prime Music titles are available for offline playback on the following devices:

  • Amazon Music for Android
  • Amazon Music for iOS
  • Fire tablets

Note: Prime Music titles are not available for download to computers (via Amazon Music for Web and the Amazon Music app for PC and Mac) or any other devices that support Prime Music.

How to Download

To download Prime Music titles from the Amazon Music app for Android or iOS:

  1. Select the music (song, album, playlist, etc.) you want to download.
  2. Open the More Options menu ("three vertical dots" icon).
  3. Tap the Download option.

If you're using Amazon Music for iOS, you can also turn on Offline Music Mode under Settings, to show just the music that was downloaded to your device, and is available for offline playback. If you're using Amazon Music for Android, go to My Music and select Online Music to toggle to Offline Music.

Tip: To access your recent downloads, you can select Recents from the Amazon Music menu and open your Downloaded list.

To download Prime Music titles on your Fire tablet:

  1. Press and hold the music (song, album, playlist, etc.) you want to download.
  2. Tap Download from the menu.

Offline Playback Availability

You can download as many songs as you'd like from Prime Music, to any compatible mobile device registered to your Amazon account.

You can have up to four different devices authorized to use Amazon Music on your account. For more information about device authorization, go to Authorize or Deauthorize Your Device.

Important: Prime Music titles can only be accessed and played within the Amazon Music app—they cannot be exported for use on other apps and devices, or copied onto CDs and other external storage.
