You can watch the movies and TV programming included with your active Channels on demand and on all of your Amazon Video devices.
To get started, open Amazon Video and look for Your Subscriptions. Select one of your Channels to browse available movies, TV series, and other programming by category.
When you find something you want to watch, select the Watch Now option in the video details--just like you would for any other Amazon Video title.
The latest episodes of current TV series are typically available to watch on demand the same time as broadcast. However, subscription providers manage the availability of titles you can watch as part of their service.
Note: Select Amazon Channels offer downloads of TV shows and movies included within your active Amazon Channels subscription. Eligible titles, that can be downloaded to watch offline, have a Download button in the video details.
If you want to download videos from Amazon Channels that don’t have the free download functionality to watch offline, you can rent or purchase them from Amazon Video. To do this, look for More Purchase Options in the video details.
Some Channel subscriptions also feature Watch Live, which gives you the option to live stream programming on supported devices the same time that it's broadcast on TV.
You can watch Amazon Channel programming live from:
Note: If you are using Watch Live with your Channel subscription, you will need a valid TV Licence.
Channels include a Watch Live video category whenever live streaming is available. This category typically updates to show what's currently on the air for each of the subscription's featured TV channels.
Select the Play icon to start the live stream. Once playback starts, you can pause the stream, jump forward and back, or rewind up to 60 minutes (for eligible titles).
Open the Options menu in the playback controls for additional options, including subtitles and audio settings. If you've paused playback or used rewind, you may also see an option to Jump to live.
Premium channel subscriptions you have with your cable or satellite provider, and standalone subscriptions you've purchased directly from the subscription provider are separate services, and cannot be used with Amazon Video.
You can access your active subscriptions through your Amazon Video devices.
Amazon Video is available on hundreds of devices, including TVs, Blu-ray players, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire tablets, computers, and Android and iOS mobile devices. To learn more about ways to watch, go to Get Amazon Video.
