You can register a Fire tablet to your Amazon account or deregister it from your account. Help for 4th Generation, 5th Generation, 6th Generation, and 7th Generation Fire Tablets.
Registration issues are often caused by incorrect passwords. If you are receiving a password error or if you've forgotten your password, you can request a personalized "password reset" link.
When you set up a Fire tablet for the first time, you are asked to register it to your Amazon account. Enter your Amazon account information to register your device.
To register your Fire tablet outside of the initial setup process:
Note: If you do not have an Amazon account, tap Start Here and follow the instructions to set up a new account.
If you don't want a device associated with your Amazon account, you can deregister it. You will lose access to any items stored in the Cloud. After deregistering, you can register your Fire tablet to another Amazon account.
