With the Amazon Trade-In program, you can send items such as textbooks, electronics, video games, DVDs, and more to a third-party merchant in exchange for an Amazon.com Gift Card.
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old.
The item you wish to trade in must match the exact version displayed in the Trade-In search results or on the product page on Amazon.com. Items that don't meet the product description or eligibility criteria are considered not acceptable and will be subject to the Trade-in Program Terms & Conditions. Rejected Items that are eligible for return will be shipped to you within 14 days after receipt at no cost to you. Rejection reasons and shipping progress tracking for the return package can be viewed from Your Trade-In Account.
If for your first trade-in or despite the fact that you were requested to send a copy of your photo ID with your items, you failed to do so, the items will be rejected and returned to you. If you still wish to trade-in these items, you'll need to submit a new request from the Trade-in store on Amazon.com and insert a copy of your photo ID in the package. To learn more about the photo IDs accepted, please see Trade-in and Photo IDs.
Note: To ensure customer privacy, accepted items with on-device storage will have their data wiped upon inspection.
