Use the Email app to send, read, and manage e-mails from your Kindle Fire 2nd Generation. You can sync the Email app with most service providers.
The Email app comes pre-installed on your Kindle Fire 2nd Generation and is available in your Apps library.
To open the Email app, go to Home, tap Apps, and then tap Email.
You'll need an e-mail account to sync with the Email, Contacts, and Calendar apps on your Kindle Fire 2nd Generation. More than one account can be added, offering combined or single account views in each of the apps.
The Email app will automatically populate server settings for many providers. However, if you're prompted to manually set up your e-mail account, you'll need the e-mail settings for your provider. For more information, go to E-mail Provider Contact Information.
The first e-mail account you add will act as the default e-mail account on your Kindle Fire. If you set up more accounts, you can select a different default account.
If you're unable to add your e-mail account to your Kindle Fire 2nd Generation automatically, you can set it up manually.
To add an email account manually to your Kindle Fire, you'll need the incoming and outgoing server addresses of your email provider. For more information, go to E-mail Provider Contact Information.
