Amazon Music for PC and Mac is a free desktop application you can use to play, download, and manage your digital music directly on your computer.
With the Amazon Music app, you can play and download your music library, export your downloaded music to iTunes and Windows Media Player, shop the Digital Music Store, and access Prime Music (if you're an eligible Prime member).
If you're using an older operating system, such as Windows XP, Windows Vista, or OS X 10.6 to 10.8, you can still install and use the Amazon Music app, but we no longer offer support for those systems.
Note: You'll need to update your Mac operating system with the latest version or patch before installing the Amazon Music app.
Note: You may also be prompted to install the Amazon Music app from the Digital Music Store, or when selecting multiple songs to download from Your Music Library. Click Get App to start the installation process.
Amazon Prime Music is not available to download to your computer. To download purchased music to your computer using the Amazon Music app, just drag and drop items to the Download to Your Computer section on the right sidebar. You can also right-click a song, album, or playlist and select Download.
Click the Computer icon under Your Library to find your downloaded music in the app.
The Amazon Music app can also automatically download all your Digital Music Store purchases to your computer and add your downloads to iTunes or Windows Media Player.
To manage these settings, open the app menu and select Preferences.
For more information, go to Export Downloads from Amazon Music for PC and Mac .
