Add Downloaded Music to iTunes or Windows Media Player

You can move Amazon Music files you've downloaded through your web browser to the preferred location on your computer--including iTunes and Windows Media Player.

To access and play your Amazon Music purchases in iTunes or Windows Media Player, you first need to download the songs to your computer. You can then move the downloaded files from where they're saved on your computer to your iTunes or Windows Media Player library.

To add your downloaded music to iTunes:
  1. Open the iTunes app.
  2. Select Add File to Library from the menu.
  3. Browse to the file or location where you saved your download (e.g. your default "Downloads" folder, "Your Music," your "Desktop").
  4. Select each track you want to add and confirm.
To add your downloaded music to Windows Media Player:
  1. Open Windows Media Player.
  2. Click Organize from the menu, and then select Manage Libraries > Music.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Browse to the file or location where you saved your download (e.g. your default "Downloads" folder, "Your Music," your "Desktop").
  5. Click Include Folder and confirm.

Tip: For information about exporting music you've downloaded to your computer using the Amazon Music app, go to Export Downloads from Amazon Music for PC and Mac .

Trouble adding your music?

If you can't find music you recently added, try restarting iTunes or Windows Media Player.

If your music is still missing, you may need to update to the latest version of iTunes or Windows Media Player. If you're using an out-of-date version, files may not export correctly. After you update, try adding your music again.
