Manage Your Dash Button Device Settings

Use the Amazon Shopping app to manage your Dash Button device notification settings, view your 1-Click payment and shipping preferences, and select the products that you'll be ordering with your Dash Button devices.

Notification Settings

Dash Button Updates sends notifications to your phone if your order is successful or if your order failed. Tap the notification to review order details or find steps to resolve any issues.

To enable Dash Button device notifications:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app on your phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Your Account.
  3. Under the Dash Devices section, tap Manage devices > Notification Settings.
  4. Turn the switch for Dash Button Updates on or off.

Note: If you attempt to place an order and you have the Multiple Orders setting turned OFF, you will see a notification if you already have an order out for delivery. You will not be able to place a new order until the current order is delivered. See below for managing your Multiple Orders Setting.

Payment Method and Shipping Preferences

Dash Button devices use your default 1-Click payment method, shipping address, and shipping speed. To manage your default 1-Click payment method, shipping address, or shipping speed, go to Manage Addresses and 1-Click Settings. To learn more, go to Change Your 1-Click Settings.

Products Tied to Your Dash Button Device

Your Dash Button device is tied to a specific brand and certain designated eligible products. You can only associate your Dash Button device with one eligible product at any time.

To manage the products tied to your Dash Button devices:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app on your phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Your Account.
  3. Under the Dash Devices section, tap Manage devices.
  4. Select the product tied to your Dash Button, and then tap Choose a different item.
  5. Select a product from the list.

Multiple Orders Setting

By default, your Dash Button device does not allow new orders until your current order arrives. However, you can allow multiple orders so that you don't need to wait for your order to arrive.

To allow multiple orders:

  1. Open the Amazon Shopping app on your phone.
  2. Tap the Menu icon, and then tap Your Account.
  3. Under the Dash Devices section, select Manage devices.
  4. Select the product tied to your Dash Button device.
  5. Turn on the Allow multiple orders switch.
