I don't know why I expected more...
on August 22, 2016
I don't know why I'm surprised I was disappointed in this. A real housewife, does not an author make, but I guess I gave her too much credit since Kyle always seemed to be the least crazy of the bunch (and because I loved both of Bethenny's books). This wasn't horrible, but it was like reading a very long text, or Facebook post, complete with every other sentence ending with "Ha-ha!" Perhaps if that weren't the case, it would have been more tolerable.
Kyle basically launches into an autobiography and "advice" as to how she achieves her perfect life. Yea, well being born with a silver spoon didn't hurt either. This book is full of product placement (I don't think they make that Trish McEvoy lipgloss anymore btw) and gross male biased tips for a "happy marriage." I guess I should be glad I don't live in Beverly Hill cause there is no way I'm doing my hair and putting lipgloss on before my coffee. God forbid should my man see me "that way." But yea Kyle, you're totally "real!"
Don't waste your time. Onto Lisa Vanderpump's best seller!
