I am so sad to be caught up with the TPB releases and not have an idea of when or if the next will be available.
This one, though not as gory as the others, is much more character driven. Once again, The artist and writer have an impeccable ability to make characters that are consistent, believable, and seemingly real. We get to see a softer side of our angry, crass detective. We get to see him begrudgingly work with the Sandman.
More importantly, we see Diane finally stop being wishy washy and actually go through with a project. I find it adorable how she tries to fill her time. Either way, the relationship between Diane and Wesley is strengthened during he course of this TPB
