Using these straps to hold the "Keeper 07203-1 Waterproof Roof Top Cargo Bag" helped tremendously in regards to not having to worry about the bag flying off the roof of the SUV or the straps on the bag tearing while on a 12 hour road trip.

I recently moved 3 hours away and used a roof top cargo bag. I bought these to use with it but initially did not put these on. It was a very windy day when I made the drive and I kept hearing sounds and got kind of nervous, so I stopped and strapped these on. They were very simple and easy to get on, easy to tighten, without any assistance or anything. I'm average -to short height, so after all the trouble I had getting everything in the bag, I was elated that these were SO easy to get on, and I was so relieved, and felt much more safe and secure the rest of my trip with these around the bag and my cargo bars on top of my car.

I used these to hang our roof box from the garage ceiling, along with some metal brackets attached to the ceiling joists. Easy to secure and it hasn't budged.

These straps were purchased in unison with the RoofBag RoofBag Explorer Waterproof Soft Car Top Carrier for Any Car Van or SUV - Made in the USA | 1-Year Warranty | Ships Todaythat I used for traveling across the country (CA > FL) with 4 animals. The straps were not much more supportive than the straps that came with the bag itself. The metal clamps do not hold on well, it was very easy for me to pull the strap out. Also, these straps do notbhave the added hinge to tighten the strap, you are only going to get the strap to be as tight as you can physically pull it.

Came on time. But unfortunately only use them one time had them wrapped around the kayak and attached onto the trailer that was about an hour and fifty five minute drive looked on the back and this is what I saw on two of them.

I used this strap to secure a rooftop cargo bag on the roof of my Toyota Rav4 for 3,000+ highway miles (additionally with a grip mat between the bag and my car). I traveled for 2 weeks and it didn't move at all. This was a great investment that I will keep for future trips!

Rooftop carrier I used: Keeper 07203-1 Waterproof Roof Top Cargo Bag (15 Cubic Feet)
Mat I used: Sherpak SuperMat Roof Mat

I have a rooftop carrier for my car and wanted to suspend it from the ceiling, but I didn't want to pay $50-60 for a ceiling storage rack. Why spend the extra coin when all I needed to do was get it out of the way and keep it there 50 weeks each year? So I picked up a pair of these straps and bought 4 eye lag bolts from the hardware store. Screwed in the lags to the ceiling joists in a rectangular fashion, evenly spaced apart and fed a strap through each pair, creating a pair of harnesses. Slid the carrier on the harnesses upside down so the flat side was facing the ceiling. Took up the slack and the car carrier is perfectly affixed to the ceiling, with no slack, nice and tight. Installation literally took 30 minutes, and most of that was measuring. With $5 straps and I think $3 for 1.5" eye bolts, you are looking at an $8 solution. I'm going to buy another pair to suspend my window screens that we remove each winter.

We used these to tie down our carrier to our car that did not have a roof top rack. They did a great job on our 2500 mile trip.

I wouldn't waste my money on these!! We purchased it to go along with our luggage carrier but these straps do not stay tight at all!! Every time we stopped we had to tighten it more and more! I'm just glad we had extra straps

My biggest problem was trying to get the strapping around what I was securing as it was not obvious to me how to use it. The spring that has to be depressed was extremely difficult to hold open and gave me cramps in my hand.
Once the cargo was secured the strapping stayed perfectly tight.
