Got a small screw in my front passenger tire. Took the car right away to the dealer, they said it was close to the sidewall, and would only offer to replace the whole tire. Since I bought these tires brand new in February, I wasn't gonna throw them away without checking for more options. I'm fortunate to have found this product online doing some research, and saw it had plenty of good reviews, so I took a shot. The installation was super easy. I pulled, and twisted counter clockwise the small screw out too the tire with my needle nose pliers (not provided in the kit). I used the tool in the kit to roughen the hole and prep for the plug to go in. From start to completion was less then 10 minutes with me even taking my time, and not rushing it. Super easy, for what I paid here (at the time of $7.03), you can be your own mechanic in fixing that flat.

Works fine but it should include a pack of cheap single edge razor blades for cutting the plug. I plugged using this 2 weeks ago, now I have over 300 miles on that plug with no issues. I have no intention of doing anything further with the tire as the Slime plug is very robus with no pressure lost.

A nice kit to keep in your car. I always keep one in each car I own. I've had 3 punctures in the past year (don't know how on earth my luck is that bad). Each time, I was able to use this kit to successfully and (relatively) easily plug a hole to stop the leak in the first attempt. I prefer this kind of rasp to the spiral kind because I think it cuts a bit better and leaves a better hole. The only thing I wish is that it came with more rubber cement. I probably used half of it for the first plug job I used it for. By the time I got to the 3rd use, it was gone and I had to buy more.

Tip: Really need to muscle the plug to get it in there, but the rubber cement really helps lubricate it. With the tire completely deflated, I push on the tire to force some more air out, them cover the puncture with a nice squeeze of cement, then release the tire so it draws air back into the tire. In doing this, it draws some of the cement down into the hole. Then also put a bead of it on the plug. That will make it easier to plug and improve your odds of a better seal.

already had to use this once since I bought it. super easy to use and plugs the tire up really well. It's been 2 months now since I plugged the tire and no issues. For the money it's definitely worth it! saved me from taking it to a shop to get overcharged!

This is going to be my first product review, as I generally feel other reviews mirror my own, but this product worked so well for me that I felt inclined to add to the positive reviews! I purchased this tire patch kit to patch a tire with a screw on the outer portion of the tread (what tire shops consider "unpatchable"). I understand why they do this, as a company they want to avoid any liability on the small chance something happens. But this tire is basically new! So I thought this product was worth a shot for 7 dollars. And boy was I fortunate! It took me about 30 minutes to get the wheel off the car, use the included tool to bore out the hole in the tire and patch it. 1 month later, the tire still hold air perfectly and I'm very happy it saved me 100 dollars! Highly recommended!

Came in 1 day with "2 day shipping". Can't beat that for a $10 product. I used this on my Yamaha Zuma 50 moped/scooter's rear tire. I recently replaced the rear tire ($25 for tire, $50 for installation) and ran over a screw in the road. Didn't want to pay for a whole new tire again, so I thought I'd try this out. Never did anything like this before, and it only took about 5 minutes to take out the screw, clean the puncture, and patch the hole. It's been holding up for about a week now. Would definitely recommend this product.

I ran over a screw on my lawn mower, I saw it happen, I knew I was going to have a flat tire - it was in slow motion and I couldn't do anything to stop it. That was on Saturday, I went in the house and ordered this kit. Monday after work it was delivered.

literally 10 minutes later the tire was patched, inflated, and is still holding air. Saved me the cost of a new tire.

REALLY handy kit to have in the truck / car! I keep mine in a pouch with a small portable mini compressor, both have come in handy and saved my bacon more than once. Great quality tire worms, good glue and nice handles on the tools. Overall for the price it's a fantastic kit and takes up no space at all.

So I was about 25 miles away from home and my rear tire got a nail. Another good samaritan rider saw me, pulled over, and helped me fix my tire with a kit like this. I got this for myself, but to also pay it forward.

This device has saved me twice in the last year. I've had two nail punctures on my rear motorcycle tire. I will always keep it on my motorcycle from now on. Very easy to use and does its job well.
