This is a handy little compressor for personal use - this shouldn't be used for commercial use or heavily. I used this to inflate my low tire. My tire pressure was 20 PSI and the max for my tire is 44 PSI. The tire inflated from 20 PSI to 44 PSI in less than 5 minutes (4 minutes and 32 seconds). I think it is a little longer than what it would have taken me to inflate it at a gas station. But for the peace of mind that I have by knowing I can inflate my tire in an emergency - that extra little time is fine by me.

The unit is easy to use, just attach the connector to the tire - there is a locking mechanism so you don't have to hold it in place. Plug the unit into your cigarette lighter and switch the unit to on. When you are done, turn the unit off, unplug from the cigarette lighter and unhook the connector from the tire.
The unit is LOUD. I inflated my tire in my drive way and I got some curious looks from neighbors. It sounded like I was doing some serious work to my car!

The unit also comes with extra connectors so I actually inflated a few balls while I had it hooked up.

Overall, as a personal air compressor, it is great for the price. It works well and is very easy to use and I feel a little safer with this being in my trunk with a can of fix a flat.

This works, it's loud, and vibrates like crazy, but it gets the job done. I was concerned that it might be slow to inflate the tyres, but managed to fill my 235/45R18 from 25 psi to 35psi in about 4 minutes. The 10ft cord just managed to reach from the console to the back tires on my mid size car, if you have a larger vehicle, hopefully there are power points in the back seat or the trunk.

Surprisingly, the built in gauge is accurate, it matched the reading of the digital tire gauge, and even though the body of the compressor vibrates A LOT, the needle does not. Even more surprising, after inflating all four tyres, the unit was only slightly warm, not hot as I expected.

Two warnings-
1) The motor arcs, so make sure the area is free of flammables. The arcs are small, and contained within the housing, but since it is open to the environment, vapors may ignite.

2) it is LOUD, wear ear plugs, I will from now on.

Single-use disposable. Failed half-way through the second tire that I was trying to top off. Definitely less than 15 minutes total runtime, and now it won't pump anymore. The gear inside is plastic, and if it gets warm, it will slip on the shaft and become permanently damaged. 300 PSI is a joke, and so is the claim of quality construction. Maybe OK for soccer balls and air mattresses...

I needed a simple compact 12 volt compressor to keep up with a slow leak due to rim corrosion until I could obtain a new wheel. I wasn't looking for anything fast or fancy, just something I could count on to keep on hand for my current needs and future use. After reading the reviews I was a little skeptical about how quickly it would inflate tires, but after trying it I was pleasantly surprised to find it works very well, and plenty fast enough.

I have regular 120 volt air compressors at home, and they inflate tires rather quickly. I didn't expect this to work as quickly but I'm quite satisfied with its performance.

My low-tire indicator turns on when my tire is about 33 to 34 psi, and I normally fill it to 40 psi. It takes this compressor less than two minutes to accomplish this. Upon completion, the unit is warm but not hot. The built-in meter reading matches that of my car's senors, and that of my stand-alone tire gauge, so I feel it's quite accurate.

This device is light and compact enough to be stowed in most vehicles on a regular basis and the power cord is long enough to accommodate most vehicle types. The hose attaches to my valve step securely with no leak, without holding on to it. I was happy to see that nozzle adapters are included to inflate balls and other items.

This is an inexpensive electric pump for tires and other inflatables. The unit by default will attach to standard car tires, but it comes with adapters for other sizes of nozzles as well as needle size for filling footballs and basketballs.

It was very inexpensive compared to most of the other units out there, but the AAA endorsement gives me hope that it's backed by a reputable name. I've had it a few weeks now and so far, it's worked fine.

I mainly got it because one of my cars has a couple of tires with slow leaks. It was cheaper to pay $19 for a pump, than to go out and replace the tires for $300-$400. Later this winter I'm planning to put snow tires on, but this pump buys me an extra couple of months.

- It's noisy. Don't do it at 7am on a Sunday morning or your neighbors will be displeased.

- It's slow. You should give it a few minutes to get a tire up to pressure.

- It has a tire gauge which seems to work. I haven't compared it with a manual tire pressure gauge. It goes up as you inflate the tire.

- it plugs into the cigarette lighter and can reach pretty much all around the car.

There's not much else to say about this item. If it stops working, I'll update this review. I've had it 5 weeks, used it about 4-5 times, and thus far it's worked well.

This compress or burned up the first time used it. Tried to put 10lbs of air in my car tire since t was running low and just stopped working. The motor started making a different noise and just stopped pumping air. Not reliable!

Used it first time tonight. All I can say is, really? This is what Amazon thought was one of the best on the market? If you are over 40 and have bifocals, the dial is small and nearly unreadable. It jiggles so much that if you dared take any of the additional items out of the plastic bag they would be lost for ever since the thing shakes like Santa's belly on Christmas Eve. No preset is provided to do auto shut off for the PSI level (mind you, don't plan on reading the gage due to > 6pt. font. Finally, not only is it nearly impossible from the small gage and rapid shaking, it compresses at a very leisurely rate. So plan on being there for awhile if you have 5lbs. or more to fill on a tire.

This is a 4th compressor for me (bought 2 for kids cars see below the ones that are impressive). And a first one that is over 20 years old, it compresses from a plug in the aux. power (same as this) has automatic shut off at a specified PSI (this does not) and while it shakes, it doesn't shake as wildly as this one. Wow, technology should improve, with this one, not so much. Pay two bucks more and get the PI Auto Store Premium Digital Tire Inflator is my recommendation. I had got those for my kids, they are spectacular, this, not impressed!

It did work, so it did have that going for it!

I bought this product out of desperation. In the description it states it will blow up a cars tire in less than 8 mins. I was shocked but it did just that. I don't live in the best neighborhood so when people saw me pumping up mine I got 6 request the information on where to purchase one. The only change I would like would be a light. Today I got an email from the founder of the company thanking me for my purchase and offered tips on tire maintenance. So if your on the fence about quality vs. cost, don't be, buy it. It would make a great gift also.

Very weak compressor, you will wait 15 minutes, if you have Chevrolet Suburban as I do, to raise the pressure in one wheel from 24 to 40 PSI.
Build quality is poor.
After 10 min of pumping, smoke is going from the plastic box grills.
Blow my fuse 15 amps in cabin outlet 12V.
Do not buy this crap, invest in quality instruments.
I am very disappointed.

Do not buy this product. I bought it because it had the AAA logo on it and because of that I trusted I was buying something they endorsed. Well, I bought this and put it in the trunk of my car. My car tells me my tire pressures and I check them often while driving. I noticed one tire was getting lower and lower, and I was afraid I might have a leak. So once I got home, I took the AAA Air Compressor out of my trunk, and actually opened the box for the first time yesterday. I plugged one hose onto the tire, and plugged the other end into my cigarette lighter in the car. After a little over 2 min, it began smoking, and I reached in and the part that was plugged into my car was very warm. I unplugged it quickly before it caught on fire. It smoked so much, I thought it was going to catch on fire. Since I bought it back in March, I no longer can return it. So I will throw this piece of garbage away. Stay away from it. I now am even questioning my AAA membership, maybe that isn't worth it any longer either. I am thinking about not renewing it. Because like I said, i bought this product because I saw the AAA logo on it.
