We've tried a couple different spoons, including some that were incredibly well-reviewed, but these are by far my favorite spoons for a couple reasons:
1. Material: The silicon material is very soft and gentle on gums which is important because my baby girl is teething and loves to chew! I discarded spoons (like Oxo) that had metal parts or hard plastic. The only downside to the material is that it does stain and scratch (due to the teething).
2. Shape/size: Perfect shape and size for my 6 month old who's just starting on solids. There's not too much food which I think helps the mess, and she seems to feel very comfortable eating with it.

Great first spoon for my little one starting out of solids. You get just enough food on the spoon for babies learning to eat solids. And I liked that the spoon is sturdier for mashing fruits and steamed veggies. Other spoons would just bend when I tried to mash even a banana. Highly recommend the Spuni for 4 months-10 months, then I would suggest you buy other spoons with a bigger/deeper ladle when your little one is ready for soups/bigger mouthfuls of food.

I have been using Bebea first stage spoons since my son first started "tasting" solid food at 5 months. I really liked these spoons, but since they were the first I'd tried, and he is nearly 6 months now, I decided to shop around, just to be sure. The Spuni spoons are fantastic for first feedings!! They only allow you to feed very small portions at a time, and the design triggers the natural latching reflex, so the baby actually sucks the food off of the spoon. Since the bowl of the spoons are so small, these won't work for very long, but I wish I'd found these first, and switched to the much larger Bebea spoons after he outgrows them. The only reason for the 4 star review is because these spoons are very lightweight; the Bebea spoons are much more comfortable in your hand and are ergonomically designed.

Who would have thought you could create a better spoon for a baby?! Spuni has done it!! I bought a Spuni for my friend's daughter's new baby and both she and baby love it. She called to tell me that her 5 month old son can't wait to get the Spuni in his little mouth. She had been feeding him with a traditional spoon and was having difficulty getting the right amount of food in the spoon and in his mouth without making a terrible mess. Spuni solved the problem and transitioning to solid foods has made feeding time so much fun for baby and mom. Spuni is an amazing new spoon for infants that comes in playful colors. I would definitely recommend this product as a gift or to purchase yourself for your babies.

Super cute, soft silicone and we are currently practicing as our son has just reached the 6 month mark.

We love it SO much, it really helps with his reflexes, the spoon is a but on the larger end of other baby spoons, but a good portion goes INTO his mouth and not around it. We ended up buying another set

I bought these on prime day since they were on sale. The spoons themselves are nice, obviously high quality and comfortable to hold and for my baby to chew on. I'm giving it 3 stars because I really don't think you need to spend so much on baby spoons that last you a few months - after the first month or two your baby will probably be annoyed with how little the spoon holds so you'll need to get bigger ones. My baby boy (and older daughter) didn't have a problem with regular cheaper infant spoons, so while its is really nice I wouldn't buy them again!!

We purchased these spoons with a lot of excitement. We were sadly disappointed that after a couple of uses the outside material was changing colors. Even more disappointed when we contacted the company and got a response to fix it but then never did after multiple emails.

My 4 month old son was growing so quickly that formula was not satisfying him anymore, so the doctor told me to start introducing solids. For two weeks he struggled with it and was never really happy about it if he couldn't get his bottle. That started the cycle of bottle for 15 seconds then a couple bites of food. So frustrating! I read all the reviews of new types of baby spoons on Amazon and settled on trying two new kinds. The other kind was more convenient than conventional baby spoons, but he still wasn't happy with eating. When I introduced the Spuni, it was like a switch clicked in his brain! He immediately latched onto the spoon and started making a sucking motion to get the food. The fact that he could pretty much eat off of the spoon like he was drinking a bottle has made all the difference. I gave one of the spoons to my mother who watches him during the day and will be ordering another set ASAP. This is by far one of the most helpful baby purchases I've made this past year and I will be giving these away as gifts to any mom with a new baby!
