Thank you to both Dr. Ruth and Pierre Lehu for writing this book. It is very well written and shares stories that will make you laugh and cry. The heart and soul of the authors shines through on every page.

I gave this book a five star rating mostly because Dr. Ruth Westheimer is a Five Star human being. I learned much more about the life and philosophy of Dr. Ruth Westheimer. I learned how much more there was to this remarkable woman than I realized. Dr. Westheimer is a living example of unbelievable courage, perseverance, and an indomitable spirit that illuminates and illustrates the joy of being alive. That you, Dr. Westheimer, for sharing so much of your life with us.

Great read. Until now I never knew the woman behind the legend. She is truly human and refreshingly fully alive. I recommend this book particularly for young people finding their way. It is practical and inspirational -- a shining star in the sky. Thanks Dr. Ruth!

This book just arrived today so I'm just beginning, but I will enjoy Dr. Ruth's honest and frank discussion of joie de vivre!

This is a book that reveals a great deal about Dr. Ruth's life and it is an easy read. It reveals that Dr. Ruth was remarkable as a child, a holocaust orphan, an Israeli army sniper, as a writer, a TV host, a mother, a wife and as a therapist. Whether you agree with her is a moot point because as you read of her life, you fall in love with her.

Dr. Ruth has lead a very interesting and sometimes dangerous life. Through it all she has been able to see the best in the various situations she finds herself in. She prides her long life to her attitude of doing what she can and making the best of it afterward. She is an amazing force to be reckoned with.
