While mildly entertaining, the characters are under developed, there is too much irony and I even found 2 typos. This is a cheat book, quick read but shallow language and without any depth. Okay just to pass the time, and the sex scenes aren't bad!

I didn't finish reading this book, which is very rare for me. The plot was good, I was looking forward to the story, but there was just too much cursing which I don't enjoy and the writing did not draw me in at all. I was bored and cringing from the f-bombs and didn't make it past chapter 2.

good book, characters, storyline, & very well written. i didn't see in the book descriptions or the reviews that this series contains explicit sex scenes. description & reviews looked good so i bought all three books in the series. mistake to get all three without reading the first. I prefer to use my imagination about the intimate details. it just feels a little too peeping-tom like when the sex scenes are spelled out. so, i skimmed a lot. the st. james series looks good too but no ratings found there either so i guess i'll pass. too bad, good writer.

Sorry I am just not into books that go into the sexual scene in so much detail. I think doing so is absolutely unnecessary! Just ruins the book for me.

This story had good intentions but seemed to get lost a bit. We read about Grey and Avery who meet at a particularly difficult time. Their challenge is whether or not they want to be together in the midst of the drama. The problem? It's all that they talk about. It got to be a bit irritating. I wanted to love this story but I'll settle for like. Now, to find out if Grey's friend Trip has his own book because he seemed more than interesting.

This was a very good story, of friendships, family loyalty, and falling in love. This story had great characters that helped make the story.

Enjoyed the storyline. The passion, heartache. I could really feel the passion and scenes play out in my mind. Glad it wasn't full on language & raw detailed sex scenes. Somethings are better left to the imagination than having to read it. Well done, I look forward to reading more of stories in the future

The story line was very good and most enjoyable. I'm sixty-five years old and love to read . The sex and bed room romps we had no business watching. American.Movie.Assocation. would not have allowed this on T.V........ To bad the ratting system in place doesn't rate books like movies.....

Have you read books in which the plot is interesting and it should be a good story, and it isn't? This is one of those. I managed to get through it all, but it was a struggle. A shame, because her other books have been good.
