Super easy to connect and I love that you can make profiles for different people when taking temperatures to monitor it. Super easy to use and I love that it gives you a section to look up symptoms, connect with people in your community and just all around great product. I recommend anyone to get this thermometer.

This is one of the best thermometer I have ever used. Being able to create a profile for each person and track symptoms and temperature is a great piece of mind for any parent. Wish I had one of these years ago.

I wasn't sure that having another thermometer would be useful since the one we have works, but I love all the extra benefits of the tracking that the Kinsa Digital Smart Ear Thermometer has that a regular thermometer does not. All the instructions were easy to follow. I love that the batteries were included. It took less than 10 minutes for me to set up and take my child's temperature.
We haven't had to use this for any illnesses so, besides the normal temperature that my kiddo has, I can only say it is accurate for this experience. I love that the thermometer is synced/connected directly to the app so that the information is stored and I don't have to recall from memory when something happened or the last time a dose of medication was given to a child. I could easily show a doctor a record of how my child has been doing since there is a history documented.
We haven't had to use this for any illnesses so, besides the normal temperature that my kiddo has, I can only say it is accurate for this experience. It really does take a temperature reading in a second. I'm very impressed. My original Kinsa Thermometer felt very slow once my daughter reached a wriggle worm age and decided that thermometers in general scared her as much as a trip to the doctor's office.
The Elmo design is cute and had my two year old instantly engaged. She thinks it's a toy.
Pros:
They have updated the kinsa app since I last used my under arm thermometer, and it's fantastic. It has new features for illness information, networks for your school so that parents can share (anonymous) information to curb potential outbreaks, and it all syncs as usual to my HealthKit.

The plastic body feels light and a bit cheap. I wish they had used a thicker feeling and sturdier plastic.
No bubble game for the kids to play on the app while you take their temperature - wish they'd add this as it really helps keep my toddler still.
In total I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and invested. It's cheaper than many ear thermometers with triple the function. I've used the fever log many times to track the course of an illness for our pediatrician. The fast readings are crucial. I wish they would include or sell a hard carry case. I worry about travelling with the thermometer packed into a suitcase just so.

I don't think this product is accurate. I can take three readings and all three are very different. I am sitting with my son who is clearly very fevered but I get readings between 97.6 (not even close) to 101 (still too low in my opinion) taken within seconds of each other.

I liked the simplicity of this product - it has only one button and the measurement is immediate. The smartphone sync was OK; the accompanying app works well but the bluetooth connection can be a bit spotty. I'd consider the syncing as more of a gimmick compared to the primary function of this device. One bonus point for the friendly industrial design and simple display, particularly compared to a lot of "grey thermometers" with ambitious buttons in the market.

I am in love with thermometer! It is by far the easiest and fastest thermometer I've ever tried. Receiving your temperate really does take only 1 second and the results are accurate. The app that's connected with it may just be the best part. It is so helpful when the kids are sick, and you need a quick reference on how they're feeling. It is easy to use and will take the place of having your young ones struggle to keep a thermometer in their mouth, and not always getting accurate results. This Kinsa thermometer will definitely be my go-to for those sick days!

A perfectly acceptable ear thermometer, with intuitive instructions and quick set up. Both the thermometer and the app worked well right away. One of the bigger plusses was the beep when taking the temperature was audible, but quiet enough that I didn't feel like we were deafening our child (a problem with our previous thermometer). I also appreciated that while the app function increased the functionality of the thermometer, the thermometer still functioned without it (essential for those late night frantic measurements).
