I am in LOVE.
Four stars because there are some weird complications with this and the instructions are pretty confusing.
Here are the instructions!
It comes with 2 round slim magnets (not the mounts)
And 2 rectlangle magnets. It also comes with clear stickers that fit to each slim magnet. (x4)
Before working with the magnets on how to get them onto your phone consider the placement: put the vent clip on your cars vent and hold your phone to it. We didn't do this so our magnets are placed a bit higher than we prefer! So I reccomend giving this a try first for best results!
Magnet instructions: For us, we couldn't pull the stickers off. That's one reason for the 4 stars! But we chose the round magnets to stick to our phones, the were smaller and less noticeable. Option A (the one we did) stick the slim magnet of your choice directly to the back of your phone, props if you can peel the stickers from the paper. These obviously go on the back of your phone. It protects your phone from the super stickey magnet! This will risk the magnet eventually coming off when you pull it from the mount. But that will be a while before that even starts to be an issue.
Option B: To avoid the risk of the magnet coming apart from your phone, your best best is to use a phone case! This way the mount and magnet don't come directly into contact.
Reasons to love it!
It's a super strong magnet and the price is right! You get one for each car! My vents are black so it blendswell, you hardly notice them when your phone isn't on it! We have a JEEP so our vents spin. This allows our phones to be perfectly adjusted to our prefference. It may be harder to attach it to a regular straight vent! But I doubt it. I will update when I attach it to my Ford Fusion (in the shop) as soon as I get it back! The mount is also so strong it holds onto the magnet no matter where it's placed! So if you wnt to slide your phone to one side or a little up and the magnet isn't fully on the mount it still holds impressivly well. We bought these for $9 instead of installing a fancy radio and slow gps for $900+ I think it's worth it! Just use your favorite music app and phone's gps. I bought it for my husband because he is constantly on the phone for work and this way he can easily answer his phone and put it in speaker but keep it away from his hands or from falling off his lap. Gives me some peace of mind!
Cons-
I live in FL so A/C is important. Unfortunately the mount (when the phone is attached) blocks the vent. But an easy fix is cool your car down first before attaching it! It only goes on one vent so it's not a big deal but it may be if your car has no vents for the back seats and you have children (like us!) If you like to use your phome in landscape mode the weight might be awkwardly distributed and will cause the vent to "fall" downward. This is fixed by adjusting it and playing with it a bit.
This, aside from some weird confusing and almost none existant instructions, are the only cons! Please make the adhesive stickers easier to peel off and print a clear instruction sheet!
We easily got over it :) now we use them everyday!

Perfectly holds your phone where it needs to be! I have a LG G4 with a case over it. I got one for my fiancee too, he has a LG G5 with a thick Otter case on it. Stays put and I am a "spirited" driver...lol. Genius and simple. I won't be using any other kind of phone mount ever, magnetic is where it's at.

It works amazingly and about its performance I have no complaints! It does the job right.
...So, why am I giving it two stars? You'll see, the whole thing is metal covered in some silicone-like material. The back of it, where the prongs that hold on to the air vent are, is quite weak. The silicone tore off from normal use and it started scratching my car's air vent badly. I didn't notice until today.
I will have to replace the whole air vent piece, which is $58. Much more than this device is worth. I would say don't risk it and just get one that sticks to the windshield instead.

I ordered this product for my iPhone 6 Plus. The product came with 2 round receiver magnets to attach to car heating/air vents, 2 magnetic rectangle plates and 2 magnetic circle plates to stick on your phone or in your phone case, and 2 rectangle and 2 circle sticker films (I can't figure out what these are for- maybe to keep the magnets from rubbing on your phone case?). The plates have a paper, like the back of a sticker, which if pulled off would expose a sticky side of the magnet which you could use to attach the plates to your phone or your case. I did not peel them off because the plates stay in my phone case just fine once the case is on with no need to stick them. This way, I can move them from case to case when I switch. I use a thin cosmetic case on my phone, and since my phone is so large I placed 2 of the 4 thin magnetic plates in my phone case and then put the case back on. Even though my case is thin, I cannot feel or see the magnets. I drive a Toyota Prius, and I placed one receiver magnet on the vent on the driver's side, and the other on the passenger side (for me to use while my husband is driving). I am impressed with the strongness of the magnets and how well they snap together considering how paper thin the plates are. They aren't easy to pull apart from the receiver bases. My phone stays stuck while driving, even on bumpy roads. You could use this one kit for two phones in two separate cars if you wanted to. The only con, for me, is that the receiver magnets don't hold on to my vents as securely as I wish they did. Sometimes when I grab my phone off quickly, the receiver magnet comes off the vent and comes with my phone. I wish there was some way to make them stay on the vents a little better. Even so, overall I am very happy with this product, especially for less than $10! It makes it so easy to keep your phone within reach and view while driving when using it for navigation. It sure beats throwing the phone on the passenger seat or in the cup holders.

I let me start with the fact that I am happy with this product. It works great in my car. All you have to do is get it near the magnetic pod and it snaps into place. Very convenient. Why not five stars? My phone has a minimalistic case. That allows for great contact with the magnet. My wife's phone case is a little thicker and her phone constantly falls off. I would love some feedback as to a better way to do it.

This is single handedly THE BEST thing I have ever bought for any vehicle I have EVER owned. My life while driving has been changed forever; I will never drive the same way again. It has always been a first-world problem to figure out the best place to rest my phone; my lap? The cup holder? Glove box? On top of the roof?? NOT. ANYMORE. As soon as this miracle product hit my front steps, I opened it and stuck the magnet behind my phone case....from that instant, I knew things were going to be different. After I sprinted to my truck with a face of glee, I popped the mount onto the vent, and in literal slow-motion, brought my phone up to it's new safe space......I swear the heavens rang with joy and angels sung 'Yonce as it made contact. I can't even explain what the feeling was like. You HAVE to try this out for yourself. I do not think you will be disappointed at all.

Great product at a very inexpensive cost. Keeps my Galaxy S8+ phone securely within reach and easy to view. Magnets are powerful and order comes with round and rectangular adhesive back plates which attach to my phone or can be placed between phone and any protective case. Works with wireless charging unit, but need to place the magnetic attachment plate lower on the phone below the middle where the phone's wireless charging point is located.
Also bought the larger rectangular mount, and am equally pleased. Highly recommend.

Nice simple way to have your phone at arms reach and out of cup holders or sitting on a seat. Great for navigation programs and or music apps. Keeps your eyes up and your mind off of your phone sliding around. I bought the two back to compliment the stick on and one other vent clip mount I purchased a while ago. The wife didn't want one until I put mine in her car, it never left. One tip though for the vent mount is to turn your vent off if possible. Of course in the winter most of us have the heat on the floor and windshield but in the summer the AC can get the phone pretty cold. This caused some delay in use when taking the phone from the truck out into the humid heat. It seemed to sweat a little causing a slight delay in phone functions.

Great device for a quick setup in your car for hands free operation my only issues are the strength of the magnet going through some phone cases the phone will either slide down and stay or slide down and fall this can be fixed by sticking it to the outside of the case but depending on the case it can look very tacky or not fit the metal plate. My other downfall is that you cannot adjust the tightness of the grips for different sized vents my gf's magnet comes out of her vent cause it doesn't fit snug in the vents. All in all I love this product I use it everyday but there are some things that prevent it from getting 5 stars
