Solitude, OR. Crying Indian Camp ground (Rogue River). Ralph (campground attendant) called Sheila & let her know there was a dead body out here.
Josh Black (30, Chase’s mgr.) & Spider (Chase’s brother) showed Officer Stevie Taylor (f) & Kenny (PD) the crime scene.

Toby Black (younger brother) informed Stevie it was Chase Ryan (TV star, Detective Alex Gunn).
Police Chief Zane Duncan (Stevie’s fiancé) arrived on the scene.
Hank (ME) had arrived also.
Back at the police station Cyndee Sykes claiming to be Chase’s GF showed up in tears.
Jenny Blair (Asian, mother) showed up at the police station also.
Cyndee had started the apartment fire.

Will the murder mystery be solved?

I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written murder mystery book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great murder mystery movie, or mini TV series. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

Thank you for the free Montlake Romance; Amazon Digital Services LLC. Book.

“Death and Her Devotion” is the first book in the Rogue Vows series, yet another amazing collaboration between Kendra Elliot & Melinda Leigh. Each of these authors are impressive on their own but when they come together something magical happens. If you've read any of the Rogue River or Rogue Winter books then you will be familiar with the setting and most of the main characters. However it's not necessary to have read any of the other books to be able to enjoy “Death and Her Devotion”.

Officer Stevie Taylor is all set to marry Police Chief Zane Duncan when a high profile celebrity is murdered in their town. The resulting chaos may cause them to have to postpone the wedding.

There are all sorts of possible suspects in this murder, including a crazy stalker. Until the end you aren't sure who the guilty party is. This is a novella, but there is plenty of action packed into this short book. It will keep you turning the pages to find out what happens next. Looking forward to reading the 2nd book, Burned By Her Devotion. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy for an honest review.

This is the first novella in the Rogue Vows series, another collaboration between Kendra Elliot and Melinda Leigh, two authors whose other works I love, and as expected, this one didn't disappoint either.
We're back in Solitude, a small town in Oregon and home to the Taylor family. Police officer Stevie Taylor is preparing for her wedding day when the murder of a popular TV celebrity brings chaos and danger to the quaint, little town. Can Stevie and police chief Zane Duncan, who is Stevie's fiancé, find the culprit in time to enjoy their big day?
Although not really necessary as this works as a standalone short story, if you enjoy gripping but heartwarming romantic suspense stories, start with the Rogue River and Rogue Winter series and then enjoy this continuation.
Despite the fact that this is a novella, it has everything that you would expect from a full-length romantic suspense novel. Really enjoyable.
