This book was so good I couldn't put it down. I could see the growth in the characters throughout the story which is something I love to see in books. Sway is my new book bae but that Kappa worked my nerve. I felt sorry for Belle but also Tash. There was so much drama it made my head spin. I will say this. If you are not used to reading urban books then you are not going to understand the language or the drama that comes with it. I read the reviews before I read this book but clearly that person didn't understand urban. I look forward to the next book from Shante.

This book was so good I couldn't put it down I was all in my feelings with this book. I wanted to fight everybody. Belle just seems like she the cause of everybody problems but she just wants love. I'm rooting for her and Sway. Kappa trifling butt needs to be done ooh. I kind of felt sorry for Tash. Jewel need to sit down somewhere too.

I loved this book but Kapa made me wanted to stop reading it. He was such a liar. This book pulled me in and kept me holding on for dear life.

It was quite predictable. The writing was nice. A bit on the "been there, done that" side, but still a fairly decent read.

I checked the categories for this book on Amazon and Kindle Scout to be sure I hadn't missed the classification. I nominated the book and it was selected by Kindle Press. Since I support indie authors, I always read and review any book I nominate after it is selected.

Where do I start? Shante D. can write. There is no denying that, but this book has so many things wrong. The first is dialogue that is so crass, redundant, and colloquial I needed a decoder. The book is loaded with inconsistencies. The main character, Belle, is an honor student who earned a "free ride" to college. (She never goes to class.) She is on the dean's list. Her adopted father is a pediatrition. Yet, she speaks like an uneducated ditch digger. Her parents lived in the "burbs", but she and her sister returned to the "hood" like dogs returning to their vomit. The characters have no morals. Oh, but this is erotica not romance. Any writer with this much talent should have written about escaping a life of sex and drugs not running to it. Lastly, the book has no end. The good news is there is still hope for the story to be uplifting.
