I own every Fastball album ever made and this is right up there with their very best. Most of the tracks are short (~2 min) but every one of them is great! Standouts for me are Best Friend, Behind the Sun, Just Another Dream, Super Agent Love and Frenchy and the Punk

Just got to see them in Denver and they sounded incredible. One of the most underrated bands out there for sure. If you're a fan of Fastball, this album is a must own.

I have loved Fastball ever since I was stopped dead in my tracks in a hardware store in 1998 and heard "The Way" on the store speakers. I asked the kid at the register who that was and I right then joined the Fastball Army. I have all their records and have spent many hours with each one. I once had the pleasure of having lunch with Tony Scalzo a few years back in Austin. It was a thrill. We waited 8 years for a new Fastball record and it was worth the wait. With every album I can hear the boys' evolution as writers. Their writing has always been great but continues to get better and better like all artists. Some of my stand outs are " I'll Never Let You Down", "Secret Agent Love" ( A great nod to the 60's spy pop song genre) and "Frenchy and the Punk". Tony and Miles are 2 of the best writers of the past 25 years. Treat yourself to a copy today. Thank you Tony, Miles and Joey. Another home run !

A flashback to their first album. Pop with a punk edge, the Austin trio offer a more mature look at the sound that they started out with. From "We're on Our Way"'s persistent beat to "I Will Never Let You Down"'s introspection to the anthemic "Just Another Dream". Gone are the moments of over production and arrangements. This is minimalistic, power punk pop at it's finest.

Very good. Has a couple of radio tunes. Some Steve Miller sounds as well as Beatles sounds.

Another brilliant album from Fastball. Though Fastball hasn't recorded an album together in nearly a decade, they pick up right where they left off with catchy and relatable tunes. As with previous albums, their music continues to evolve but still appeals to original fans of their 1990s hits.
