As usual Deaver catches your interest from the first page and takes you on a journey that leaves you guessing what is coming up and then surprising you with the plot twists I love Lincoln Rhyme and following his cases and life. This one might be the best ever.

How can so much happen in such a short book? Very very suspenseful! The ending just about blew me away.

(Spoiler alert, but...) As good as Deaver is, I really didn't expect this from him - a first person narrative where the focal character dies at the end? Not quite as bad as the student I had who had his pen squiggle down the remaining page after "I'm dyin..." But everything else, the characters, the voice...

This is just another book from my favorite author, Jeffrey Deaver. I try to read everything that he writes, short or full length.
