I thought this book would be productive for my friends new baby, but he is yet to build a singe website! He's a year old now but has shown zero return on investment. If he worked for me, I'd fire that baby.
Having been the topic of several enjoyable conversations, I applaud the idea for this book.

Well made, nice color throughout. Yes, I was bothered somewhat by incomplete HTML coding--but so what? I never seem to have objected to a lack of realism in the Cat in the Hat and no one reasonable expects their baby to learn HTML from this book. It is a great gift for nerd parents (or from a nerd grandparent). I must admit my grand-baby really preferred
Peek-A-Boo! (Baby Faces Board Book #01)
; but the only nerd appeal it has is when you call it "Facebook". I have already bought a copy of HTML for Babes for a coworker's child as well. So when does Ruby on Rails fr Toddlers come out?

I bought this book for our baby we have been waiting five years now through adoption. I am excited to share it with our little one when we are finally welcome the child we have been waiting so long for. A must buy!

Very said that most of the code on this book is wrong/invalid html. The author should probaly learn the basics of HTML before deciding to write anything about it. Even if it for children the least I espected was this book to have a correct syntax.

I work Human Resources for a tech company and this is one of the books we give to our employees when they have a second baby. They love the book and it always gets a good laugh, however, for those who can actually read and understand code, please be warned, not all of the code in the book is accurately written.

My husband and I are both web designers, so we were ordered this book as a Christmas gift for our daughter. Sadly we then discovered that some pages contain code that is not valid - tags being closed without opening, opening without later being closed, etc. After mentioning this to the author on their Facebook Page, they confirmed that was not a mistake, and that due to layout issues they were not always able to fit all the proper tags onto a page/spread. For a book that is supposed to introduce babies/children to the basics of HTML, we find that very disappointing, and therefore decided to return the book. Others may think this harsh, but would you want to introduce your child to a foreign language or math or geometry, or any other subject for that matter, using a book that has errors/omissions on the most basic level?
We commend the author for their idea, but there must be some way to fit valid code into the layout!

I half got this book for my niece and half for myself. While it's colorful and fun and covers the basic HTML Tags, most tags don't have a proper closing tag...in otherwords, if you put the HTML online, it would have tons of errors...but otherwise it's a fun book!

really cute book, fun for the baby too look at the letters with the colors and contrast and it's a cute rhyme but if you're looking to actually teach your kid code maybe try a different book :)

The book is fantastic...

Got this little book so my kids could understand what i actually do (rather than spin round on a chair all day!)
It is rather simple, and does not provide much info, there is however another book in the series which provides more in-depth details.

stupid, pointless

Silly, stupid, pointless... but funny as heck. Gave me lots of daddy points when my co-workers saw it... even though some of the HTML is wrong in the book ;)

OK, but I expected more

There is a lot of big (and small) colorful CSS code lines. I expected something more - like some pictures.
At the end it is OK to take funny pictures, but nothing more.
