Really love this book and is not a quick read; this book is deep with some profound insights. Oddly I attended his lecture at Phoenix IANDS and walked out at half time. That night he talked mainly about the physical experiences of his NDE's and I left because his ruminating seemed kind of pointless. I was baffled why people called him a worldwide spiritual leader when for the hour I stayed it was nothing about his NDE experiences or his spiritual teaching. Two days later when meditating his name kept surfacing and I decided to by his book. OMG that book was a monumenal work by a man who has given much thought and devotion to integrating his repetitive NDE experiences. He truly is an outstanding spiritual teacher and gifted writer. He even explains why the simple has such important effects on spirituality.
Why he seemed so "off" to me the night I saw him; I dont know. Maybe it was because he was fresh from another NDE and seemed physically somewhat weak to me. I am so glad I bought this book, it will remain a permanent part of my library and I will re-read many chapters for even deeper insight. Thank you Michael Tamura

Purchased this book a couple of months prior to this date.

Before I present my point of view concerning this book, first I think a few suggestions would be
helpful to those of you who are contemplating this purchase.

This book will speak to many different people on many different levels of understanding, needless to say, the further you have traveled the path of recognizing you are more than what you appear, this book will help in this understanding. If you are at a stage where you understand and are questioning your belief and judgment system, you feel there is more than meets the eye or are just basically questioning everything in life, then this book will be of help. If you have a completely open mind to all there is, then this book will lead you further down the path of understanding you, yourself, and your relationship to all there IS. This is a reference book that you will keep on your bookshelf and many times, because each time you re-read this book there will be a deeper understanding of what is being conveyed.

We all are at a different stage of soul development, this is not a good thing or a bad thing, it just is. Why I am pointing this not so obvious point out? This book is not for everyone, hence, you, the reader needs to understand how you view the world, what do you think, are you curious about what is not being said in Western Religions, do you feel there is more to you then just the physical body. If you have any inkling of these questions then the purchase of this book will serve you well.

However, if you live by your belief and judgment system, have a closed mind because you know and understand everything, are unable to comprehend there is more to the unseen world then the seen world, unable to comprehend we live many life's as energy of light, soul's, then save your money, you will not understand what is being conveyed and your evolution as a soul is not far enough along in your souls path of knowledge and understanding. And this is OK.

We all must remember a very simple and basic truth: There is no right or wrong, there just IS. We are not here is issue judgments we are here to seek, learn, understand, gain knowledge, move into knowing and evolve to the higher realms.

I've read almost all books on spirituality, self help, discovering self etc. over the past few decades and this book goes with a handful of books that are really memorable. I almost feel like hopping on a plane from Australia to Mt Shasta to meet the author. His words are down to earth and hit the proverbial nail on the head. I especially love the many exercises to do at the back of the book. Not that I'm short of exercises to do, I ran meditation, self development and self empowerment classes for seven years and I'm sure I learnt more by teaching than being a student. However, even after all those classes I ran I still found Michael Tamura's writings extremely valuable. This book is designed to bring positive shifts to its readers and that's why I consider it amongst the most valuable books of our time. Namaste.

You Are the Answer is a remarkable book that waits to be discovered by wider circle of readers for the praise of the divine power in everyman's soul. Michael Tamura attempts to convince that in every hart, God's sparkle waits to be unleashed to bring joy, love, compassion and peace to the world!
Here is a quote from this book: "We often look at what we don't have to share with others: "If I had enough money, I would feed the hungry," (...) Instead, we must examine what we do have. (...) You may not have enough actual food to feed everyone in the world but you certainly have some form of nourishment to share with each person you meet."
Michael Tamura comes from Japan, but was brought up in America. And his book translates wisdom of ages into language of our daily living with all its problems, such as constant pressure (never good enough!), lack of time and money, constant dealing with isolation, loneliness and loss of love.
