    I ordered this guide when I ordered my copy of Halo 5. Not only does it have a pretty good walkthrough complete with locations of intel, skulls, and special weapons but also includes tons of background information and awesome pictures. The walkthrough is pretty thorough and can help give you that edge to make legendary a little easier if you come to a difficult point. The guide also includes a fairly large section on multiplayer, just as much as the campaign section. I haven't spent a lot of time using the guide for this section but appears to include tons of information such as maps, information about req packs and cards, and tactics. All of this is wrapped in hard back with great artwork of Chief and Locke. I am a pretty big Halo nerd and enjoy having this not only for its functionality but also as a kind of collection piece. This would make a great gift for any Halo fan big or small.

    The guide has a nice quality hard cover and beautiful images but did not live up to the expectations of a premium collectors guide. You gain all of the info that is to be expected of a game guide, and there is tons of information. The problems that I have with it are that there are a decent number of pages that are so saturated with ink that they look like water was spilled on them and crinkled them. Also the e-guide is a nice touch but the REQ pack is practically worthless. Overall it is a good game guide but I don not know if the collector edition guide is worth the premium price for the quality. If you like Halo 5 and want to know all the information and do not want to scour the web for info the guide is good but the collectors guide is only worth it, I believe, if you want the different cover graphic, and/or are a patch collector.
