Clearly, Augustine's Laws ought to be is a MUST READ for all undergraduate engineering programs regardless of technical discipline. After working as an engineer, engineering manager and electronics industry executive spanning 30 years at several large multinational corporations and a smaller privately held firm, truth be told, I lived through many of the scenarios summarized in this book. In particular, Norm Augustine's work triggered a number of flashbacks regarding lessons learned as an engineering manager at one of the leading multinational defense contractors developing a state-of-the-art aircraft. Without question, the military-industrial-security complex could learn much from Augustine's Laws and perhaps our taxes would be significantly less if the bureaucracy actually followed them. I highly recommend Augustine's Laws be part of every engineer's library.
