This is a brilliant, upsetting, must-read book that is in desperate need of a good editor and copy editor. It is encyclopedic in scope and therefore overwhelming. It's too much to take in! I think it might be three or four books in one. It is fascinating and exhausting. A good editor would reorganize the book into a narrative (or narratives) more easy to follow and comprehend. I'm an attentive reader, but it became very difficult to keep track of all the characters in the narrative of a century. Yeadon also does not introduce the characters to the uninformed reader; he generally assumes prior knowledge. Many people and events come and go quickly and are then referenced again much later without reminders.
Because so much of this material is new to me, I constantly checked Yeadon's information online--and he was always backed up by many sources. What he has to say is so important, especially at this point in our history, and especially in this election year. But I feel strongly that his mastery of the material does not lead to a reader's mastery of the material. Yeadon's story is very complex, full of details and more characters than a proverbial Russian novel. As someone new to this material, I had to make an effort to stick with it. I want this book to be more widely read, this information more widely disseminated, but think this will only happen if the material is reworked. Try not to let this deter you from this important book.
[The book needs some serious attention by a copy editor.]

Though I would dock it 1/2 a star for the spotty proofreading and editing, overall this is an astounding piece of research. It is not a quick read; there is a lot of information to absorb.

There was a truly disturbing level of collaboration between the fascists in Germany & Italy and prominent American businessmen and politicians, starting in the early 1920s, and continuing on after World War II. Pure greed seems to have motivated some of it, but often there was a larger ideology at work: a contempt for the idea that the people should have a government that represents their interests. Instead, there is the belief that government should become a tool of the rich and powerful to gain even more wealth and power. War and terror are the tactics used to maintain this system and control people. This is the essence of fascism.

Allen Dulles, John Foster Dulles, Prescott Bush, the Rockefellers and duPonts, John McCloy, Herbert Hoover, James Angleton and many others simply committed treason (there is no other word for it) right through the Second World War. Many in the American media helped to cover it up. Franklin Roosevelt intended to make public the evidence of their treason when the war ended, but his death prevented this.

The authors also explore the lesser-known story of what happened to the gold and valuables plundered by the Nazis and Japanese. Evidence suggests that much of it was secretly recovered and used by intelligence agencies and armies of the West for black operations during the Cold War. Also discussed are the Vatican/CIA ratlines, Gladio, MK-ULTRA and mind control programs, blackmail operations against politicians, pedophile networks, drug trafficking, and government links with organized crime.

Leftist Howard Zinn plugged this book. That would not be expected if it was not valuable at some level. As with Edwin Black's WAR AGAINST THE WEAK, Dale Harrington's bio WILLIAM RHODES DAVIS: NAZI AGENT OF INFLUENCE and all of Anthony Sutton's works they'll legitimately blow your hair back. Most Americans.....as Allen Dulles famously said....."Don't read." So read 'em! We don't know the history of John Rogge's trip to post-WWII Germany to investigate the Nazi connections in America nor that Rogge wrote THE OFFICIAL GERMAN REPORT: NAZI PENETRATION IN AMERICA, 1924-1942. We don't know of the Bush connections to Thyssen and Union Bank. We didn't follow California Governor Gray Davis' connection to William Rhodes Davis when Gray opened the floodgates in California to the Enron debacle and rape of the California citizenry through the manipulation of its energy grid with GWB and family claiming no participation when, in fact, Ken Lay was being pushed as the best candidate for the nation's energy czar while the leading Enron PR directors in California were part of the Operation Zapata crowd. Get this book for the Rogge story and William Rhodes Davis connections and then pick up the others. You will quit wondering why Donald Trump....for all of his issues....was tweeting a Bush family photo with a swastika. You will still be wondering, however, where all the loot has gone....and for what purpose/s. What Yeadon doesn't explore is just how Nazi sympathizer, Joseph P. Kennedy, who drilled oil wells in Texas with the father-in-law of the California Enron PR director managed to produce JFK whose 1963 National Security Action Memoranda 263 would have withdrawn U.S. troops in Vietnam and to what degree the Kennedy boys were of their own minds or someone elses.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Nazis are the same as the old Nazis. They want it all for themselves with the rest of us as slaves!

A tour De force that chronicles the the fascist ideology of the Economic Elite in the United States. The robber barons, that brought us the Federal Reserve and Income taxes, also used their wealth and corporate strength to support, Spain's Franco, Italy's Mussolini and Germany's Hitler, even during the U.S's involvement in WWII. Names like, Ford, Rockefeller, Dupont, Bush, Nixon, IBM, GE, Monsanto and a "Blue Chip" who's who of leading US corporations were all involved in doing business with Hitler's Nazis. Many Nazi war criminals were secreted into the US and blended right in with the fascist ideology of corporate America and many became members of the conservative party.

Today we are being attacked by fascists from within. Our future depends on knowing the TRUTH.

To get a deeper understanding about the relationship between the corporate powers of Europe and America and the rise of the 3rd Reich and how these Nazis took over America after the war from within the democratic society, this book is THE information source. Comes with a multitude of quantifiable facts and enlightening statistics leading to brillant conclusions and a warning for humanity to be alert for the hidden fascism that eats out democracy like terminal cancer.
