Production Versus Plunder Paperback – January 1, 2009

4.9 4.9 out of 5 stars 15 ratings

History opens itself to you in this book. By following the central conflict of human history (production versus plunder), the rise and fall of human civilizations become understandable. The truth is that the battles and names that most of us learn in school are never connected to their most basic causes, and therefore never really fit together into an understandable whole. In this book, however, they do.

When history comes together into a coherent story, quite a few surprises can be seen, such as the fact that the Sumerians did not create the first culture: They destroyed it. Or, that Athens did not create the Golden Age of the Greeks: They ended it.

As you proceed through this engrossing narrative, you'll find some troubling facts about the modern world as well; such as the fact that the workers of the world have indeed been robbed, but not by capitalists, and that the Rule of Law actually ended two centuries ago. And then, the conclusion that Western Civilization is nearly doomed.

It was never too hard to understand; they just told you the wrong story.

Coaching/Training Philosophy:

The most important aspect of training, which most of my entire career is based upon, is holding clients accountable to make regular exercise a way of life. A lifestyle. Working our hard – great, working out long – ok too, but working out often – best. This is how people get results and results that last.

Fav Piece of Workout Equipment & Why:

“The human body. There are countless ways to move your body and the world is your playground. I always used to be a free weight person but as I have grown and as Covid hit I had to evolve, and I evolved to workouts that can be done with little to no equipment.”

This is the most amazing little book I have read on history in thirty six years of reading history. It does three things that all the PC versions of history do not. It is a brief survey that staggered my previous understanding of the time line of man(kind) from pre Sumer to present day in a simple to read style. Second, so many jumping off points for further study that the possibilities are nearly limitless. His facts are sound and not loaded with assumptions or speculations to make history fit our modern ideas. Finally, and most importantly, this little book put words and logic to those things in our culture and world that I have innately felt were horribly wrong but could not find the means to express it to others, especially those willing to be subservient (slaves for the PC crowd) to the plunderers. Explaining the evolution of history from with in our current framework is like debating philosophy with a philosophy major; difficult at best and usually useless. Thank you Mr. Rosenberg for providing a tangible, practical tool for prying open the eyes of the current crop of voting stock.

Rosenberg pulls together historical events to depict how the plunders /big government efforts to control the population for their own purposes reaches back to the beginnings of civilization. He points out how Constentine created the Church as a control mechanism and it performs this function to this day. He proceeds to demonstrate how wars and crisis is used to advance the agendas of those behind the scenes with their agenda of control. I took away a new understanding how the events in history, with a slightly different perspective, fall into place. With this insight I can look at todays events and see Rosenberg's underlying theme "Production vs. Plunder" by those with the force of arms. Propaganda helps but arms is the decider. Escellent read!!

Wow, this is the best overview of recorded history I have ever read. One of my hobbies has been looking for the history they left out in school. Not just the names of rulers and dates of battles. This is it; it will change how you think about society and culture. I hope the author continues to expand and update this work. Should be required reading in high school. Probably one of the best books I have ever read, get it, you will not regret it!

This is the book you were wishing for in history class instead of memorizing dates of battles and rulers.
