I've just finished reading it and it s great. How valuable it is for someone with cancer to have a real RN describe her personal experience with the corrupt cancer treatment system. But the greatest thing you've done in the book is give people a comprehensive guide to testing for cancer. I had never heard of most of the tests you describe and you've given people comprehensive information on how to get them done.

About the Author

Jenny Hrbacek, a registered nurse, set out on a life changing journey when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. She underwent a double mastectomy and chemotherapy in the belief that would eliminate the cancer, only to discover she was not cancer-free. Jenny launched a national campaign to change the way that cancer is detected. She appears in Ty Bollinger’s 2015 "The Truth about Cancer – A Global Quest" documentary series, is a featured contributor to Doug Kaufmann’s TV show, “Know the Cause,” and is part of the "Cancer Answers Global Summit". Today, Jenny consults individually with other patients and is available for public speaking engagements. She is married with three children, lives in Sugar Land, Texas, and is active in her community and charitable organizations.

Since being diagnosed with an aggressive endometrial tumor, I've been reading non-stop about cancer and ways to treat it. Surgery and internal radiation and now the next step is followup PET Scan by my traditional oncologist. I am a very healthy 66 y.o. who has always kept up on the latest medical info, be it traditional or complementary medicine. I was appalled to go to two highly regarded medical institutions and not one word of recommendations on how I could test or make lifestyle changes so to decrease the chances of metastasis! Due to the aggressive grade 3 tumor, even with what tested clear lymph nodes, I saw my report and had to question the
high probability of cancer coming back when I saw my LVSI (lymph vascular space invasion) being present on my lab report. Not one word of explanation or insight did I receive. I received more information from this book than all the other books put together and categorized in such a way that besides reading it on my Kindle, I have decided to get a hard copy for my references and library.
Thank you for helping me to empower myself by making positive changes in my food choices and references to all the lab testing that will keep me on top of my condition! This book would be a great read and wealth of information even if you were not fighting cancer.

Great book. It has very good info on how to get cancer tested. I bought this book in 2015 and I'm just reading it now. I ended up getting some of the tests listed in the book done thru doctors (as per their advice). I wish I would have read the book and done the tests myself instead. The book lists good tests to do to analyze cancer status and healing progress and provides info on what exactly the tests analyze.

Everything you need to know about cancer. From a nurse who had breast cancer herself. Looking back she would have done a lot of things differently. I was flipping through the tv channel and came upon Jenny being interviewed about her book. I was intrigued. I had to order it. It is an eye opening read. The whole medical field is driven by dollar signs. I appreciated the info on various tests you can order yourself with a description and cost of each test. Great information. I only gave 3 stars because the author gives only one reference for doctors doing some of these important tests and treatments. Dr. June Meymand, Board Certified in Integrative Medicine does these and more. I am a current patient of Dr. Meymand as was Shirley Williams, author of Stage 4 Cancer Gone. I have had great success given 7.5 years so far with stage 4 nsc lung cancer. I have stayed in Dallas several times now with organic food, complete care, tests, treatments, everything combined.
