Interesting Characters and plot. One of the better World of Warcraft stories I have read. I recommend it very much.

I like it because it is better than any other WoW novel that I've read

The mystery of the Dark Riders is one of those pieces of Warcraft lore that seemed long forgotten - a story that begin way back in Vanilla WoW and was never really explained. This graphic novel does a good job of filling in some of the gaps in the story of the Scythe of Elune and the Dark Riders. Unfortunately, I doubt it would make much sense to someone who wasn't already well versed in this sort of thing...

What can I say, good use of characters, an interesting story, and good artwork. Non WoW people will still find it good, but for WoW people you should really appreciate this story.

This was a fun read with some interesting characters, I would like to read more about these guys, I was ready to keep going when it ended!

While it explores a little bit of the storyline, it is not deep enough story to know more. Karazhan is one of my favorite raid during the Burning Crusade, so it brings back good memory

It was nice... Kinda miss leading since the dark riders are not the focal. But it wasnt bad. Bloodsworne was better.

A truly random story. The plot is as follows:
- Mage told to find an artefact
- Some Dark Riders are also hunting for the artefact
- Mage's son gets framed for a murder
- Mage meets a Dark Priest
- Mage and Dark Priest find son in Duskwood
- Mage's son gets turned into a Worgen
- All parties randomly transported to Kara
- Kara messes with everyone's minds
- Mage teleports all out of Kara
- The end
So, all I can say is: what?! The story made no sense. The characters were 1 dimensional with a script an inexperienced fanfic writer could have created. The characters would have been level 15 toons in the game and hardly anything impressive. How a book could centre around them was in 1 sense admirable and in another, foolish.
Not a massive fan of the art. Many have said they liked it but I don't class myself as one of them. For a book about something 'Dark' the art was rather childish. For example, in one scene a Worgan is beheaded and the art work detracts rather than adds to what is being portrayed. This did not endear me to what I was reading.
The one redeeming feature is that, unusually, the book was set in Goldshire, Westfall, Duskwood and finally Kara. Not typical locations and yet ones, with the exclusion of Kara, that the experienced player would have spent a lot of time in and hence have fond memories of.
Overall, not a recommended read. It took me under an hour to read it cover to cover. If you can get the book under £3-4 then it's okay for a lazy read, just don't come to the book expecting much - cause you won't find it.

Barely readable on Kindle app for smart phones.

Almost £10 for a Kindle book so I thought it should be something special. Well the price was just because it's a comic, which doesn't entirely make sense for me.
However the main problem I have with this is the fact you can barely read it on a smaller kindle device. I use the kindle app for Android on my Samsung S3 mini and this comic is far too small to read the text. There is no ability to zoom in so you are stuck squinting at the tiny text. I gave up after a few pages. The high price is a nice kick in the teeth for a book I can't read.

Perhaps the best of the WOW comics.

Great story telling. The book refers to all that WOW lore with nice graphics. 5 stars for WOW fans, 4 to ex WOW fans and just 3 for those unknown to Azeroth. These last guys should wait for the WOW movie launch the next year because they will miss out on all those nice references.
