I love the book, but it arrived with sticky notes stuck to many pages with little notes on them from whomever was cooking from this book..... not a big deal at all, obviously way better than someone writing ON the pages..... but if you're going to resell a used book, you can't take three seconds to remove these sticky notes, at least for presentation and pride in your product? Kinda strange! It also took FOREVER to get here. But ultimately, it's here, and I like the recipe ideas.

I appreciated the attempt at simplyifying the recipes and I love the pictures that were included. The ingredient list seems readily available at all major grocery stores. The organization of the recipes and including drink recipes is a plus.

I love the magazine and the previous cookbook and looked forward to this cookbook release. How sad that they chose a different format. Each recipe doesn't have a dedicated page with photo, but rather one generic photo with several variations of the recipe listed. I understand that this may have allowed them to pack more recipes into the book, but it just takes away from how great this recipe book could have been. When a photo is shown, there isn't a footnote letting you know what recipe is pictured either which is frustrating. I am torn between rating it "Just OK" and "I Don't Like It".

Fresh tomato soup and it was amazing. This is a must have for new cooks or people just moving into their own place. There are not a lot of ingredients per recipe and it makes food for all group types.
