About the Author

Kiley Jon Clark was Ordained in 2011, into the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition of "Ngagpa" or Non-Monastic Practitioner of Dzogchen, by his Perfect Teacher Drubwang Tsori Dechen Rinpoche. Kiley spent years sharing meditation with people living on the streets and in homeless facilities with his group "Homeless Meditation Practitioners" or "HMP Street Dharma". In 2017, Kiley also completed Pathways of Light Seminary Training and is an Ordained Minister Counselor in 'A Course of Miracles' Teachings. He works for Nonprofits in San Antonio, Texas.

Wonderful book, beautifully poetic. It is evident that it was written from the heart of a modern day Rumi in his own right. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all those who love spiritual poetry.

There is a depth of emotion in the poetry of this book that leaves me drained. It's hard to give a description to capture how "Fireflies" makes me feel, and my opinion is that's what poetry should be, words written in such a way that you feel it in your core. I felt the utter desolation and rebirth of our beautiful world. Clark captures the death of ego and vividly punches you in the gut with it. I had to read this book in increments, so I could digest his words.

Beautiful, Raw, Powerful

The beauty of this work made me pause after almost every stanza to create a mental image of the words I read on the page. The writing in the piece is raw and powerful. I had to put down the text after every chapter to contemplate what I read and what implications these ideas and images may hold for me. Another book that had a similar effect on my reading is The Gospel According to Jesus Christ by José Saramago. The books are not similar, but my approach to them was. I would read something, and then have to put the book down to think through what I had just read. There is also a surface reading of this book that creates an art gallery or movie in my mind. I am a big fan of Kiley Jon Clark's words and style.
