- Reviewed in the United States on November 9, 2015As beginning how to books go, not bad. The layout and organization of the information presented is easy to follow. I especially like the added element of drawing exercises for you to practice on. These books are not page turners so yes you have to focus and not let your mind wander. The book functions well as a place to look up commands or what you need to do for specific task or setup. The Kindle format is the best to buy. Of course if you want a physical copy that's what you should get. But for the immediate access from the download, and the cheaper cost the Kindle version gets my vote.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2018This excellent book is used in many software courses. However the illustrations suffer from the constraints of the small sizes of cell phones and book readers. They work well in laptop and desk top computers. It is an excellent reference when you run into real world problems.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 21, 2016This is an easy book to learn AutoCAD, I got the Kindle version and the only problem is that doesnot have the pages number's, but aside from that is easy to read and follow.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2016I bought this just as a refresher since I haven't used autocad in a few years. It is really for someone who has never used the program before. It was a little too basic for me, however, it could come in handy for some things. It would probably be the same to just google your questions though. If you've never used autocad before, this will be great for you. If you know how to use it, this book might be a waste of your money.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2016Great book,i am in it almost everyday.this give you handson training.i would like to know which to get after I finish this one,i want to go to the next level
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2017Very informative, it is the program that is so involved, I am having issues with. This book makes it easier.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2016You must know the lingo. Although it's helpful, it' s not as basic as I needed.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2015This is very elementary. I guess that is what it was meant to be

SECReviewed in Canada on October 3, 20154.0 out of 5 stars ... the three books downloaded but so far it is good for Beginners
I am only using AutoCAD 2016 For Beginners out of the three books downloaded but so far it is good for Beginners. Even though I am an advanced AutoCAD user of the previous versions and few other CAD programs, the book helps me immensely for review, especially in adjusting to the features in AutoCAD 2016. I confidently recommend this book to those who do not work constantly with AutoCAD but I wish future copy will be more detailed.
I have not looked at the other books yet.
