First let me preface this review with I'm not an expert on Tequila just a fan/collector of sorts. Possibly my search for a Tequila reference book is flawed. Utilizing the average customer review rating as a gauge of the quality of any book I suppose is not the way to go.
I only recieved this book yesterday and I am already done. Not because I'm a speed reader and it was such a great read that I couldn't put it down; it's because this is simply not a book about Tequila. Sure it has a short ancedote on the origins of Tequila and three paragraphs on the different types of Tequila, but this book falls short in satisfying a real Tequila fan.
Seriously, there are only maybe six real pages of text in the entire book. The remaining portion of the book is essentially a "cook book" of sorts and a couple of cocktail recipes, which the discription really makes it sound like that portion of the book is an extra/add on when in reality the add-on is the so called 'history of Tequila'
Just a bit disappointed. Lesson Learned
