This a-bun-dantly humorous little book is ticklishly irreverent and at times quite touching -- a must for Thumpsters & Deplorabuns everywhere. The illustrations are wonderful, as are the portrayals of President Thump, the real Marlon Bundo Pence, Dr. Bun Carson, McTurtle and the Rhinos, and a host of other political and media characters familiar to those of us who have closely followed the rootin'-tootin' campaign, election, and onset of the 45th presidency of the United States.
On a serious note, the story clearly demonstrates a sense of patriotism, and it's hard to escape realizing the privilege We The People still have in our country to criticize the Washington "swamp" and induce change.
I'm waiting for the sequel. Lord knows, there's enough material!
