This book was a fast read for me (less than three hours) only because I had already picked up Donna Pessin’s Unique Healing, read Jason Eaton’s website blog and clay website descriptions. I like this book particularly since it’s a concise reference book. Reminds me of college days and my thin CompTIA A+ book: everything you need is in there. Just as I did with Donna’s book, I skimmed the personal stories and dove into the How To’s section and read some of the testimonies. I started this clay detox program last week and have to say that thanks to THIS book (ordered after UHP), I’m on the road back to optimal health. I’ve already noticed subtle changes for the better and that tells me my body has been carrying toxins for many years. Great starter book for anyone new to the ancient practice of geophagy for health maintenance and for me, regaining my health by toxin elimination. Just a personal note that clay is an instrument for your body’s unique homeostasis. In other words, clay isn’t a cure; it helps your body help itself to regain its (systems’) balance (yep all eleven of them):

1. Integumentary System: skin, connective tissue, and fascia
2. Muscular System: muscles
3. Skeletal and Articular System: skeleton, joints, tendons, and ligaments
4. Respiratory System: nose, larynx, lungs
5. Digestive System: alimentary tract, liver, pancreas
6. Cardiovascular System: heart, arteries, veins
7. Lymphatic System: thymus, spleen, lymph nodes
8. Endocrine System: pituitary gland, pineal gland, thyroid, spleen, pancreatic islets of langerhans, some cells in the kidney, parathyroid glands

It's important to always research, especially in this day and age about products before putting them into our system not just from one resource but numerous resources. What food companies,pharmaceuticals and others are doing to our foods supplies, removing the benefits and putting fillers and garbage causing us to become sick so we can take in their so called medicine... and other gifts God has given us on this earth to live a healthy life and what these companies are doing saddens me very much. That's with everything. Life use to be so simple... live a healthy and happy life.

This little book contains a wealth of info on cleansing and rebuilding your body. It almost makes you want to walk around caked in clay! Clay sucks the toxins right out of your body, specifically Calcium Bentonite Clay, which comes from the earth thru lava and consists of calcium, magnesium, and silica. I drink about two tablespoons every day and have much better stamina. (I'm 62 and was very tired.)

If I'm right, the ingredients of this substance means humans are NOT carbon-based, but silica-based, and is the reason we are able to create our realities thru thought. The book even references how the government is using clay in very exotic ways.... Definitely worth your time!

Do not buy this book - buy its newer updated version instead! :-) Both books look very much alike - same photo even! But this one (outdated version) is BLUE and titled "Living Clay - Nature's Own Miracle Cure". The new one (updated version) is RED and titled "Calcium Bentonite Clay - Nature's Pathway to Healing". I'm VERY MUCH enjoying Perry A.'s new book and would highly recommend it! The author is very knowledgeable on how to use bentonite clay for healing, both internally and externally. Her practical guidance is very useful and the testimonials are inspiring. Buy her new book, put it to use and start reclaiming your health! Amazon graciously refunded the money I spent on this outdated book, and I'm sure they'd do the same for you. But you might want to save yourself the hassle and just buy the new book instead!

Hi there,

Love the product and love the book. But I recently introduced this product to someone to clear out parasites which it has but unfortunately I think they are also dealing with Low Stomach Acid. I know that Clay is basic and can read readings of 9.5 ph would this in turn be bad for someone with Low Stomach Acid?

Perry A writes a very clear and easy to read book. She goes into detail about different types of clay and the benefits of Calcium Bentonite clay. She also goes into the history of clay and how it's been used for thousands of years for various ailments. There's also a section explaining how to use the clay. The price on this site was a bit expensive and I found another site, Well.ca that sells the book for less. Well.ca also sells the Bentonite clay. I finally found that I could purchase the clay in Toronto without the US shipping costs or the inflated Canadian prices for the product.

I would highly recommend purchase this book.
