This book was so easy to read through (large appendix of vocabulary) that I read it just an afternoon! And what great information on those old, colonial documents my ancestors left behind. I can now better understand their social status, their possessions, and the present day value of what they owned. The charts on bring pounds and shillings into today's dollars are alone worth the price of the book!
