    El sonido en Dolby Surround mejora la calidad sonora del audio en castellano. Esto es sorprendente porque, normalmente, el doblaje en castellano de muchas películas de esta década suelen estar en mono. La calidad de imagen es notable, puesto que mi televisor es HD y no se nota demasiado el grano de los fotogramas. Además, la edición UK cuesta 5€ y pico sin gastos de envío, por lo tanto, es un precio muy razonable y merece ser adquirida.

    Los actores, las escenas cómicas, la crítica a la clase privilegiada y conservadora de América es demoledora, y la música tanto de Henry Mancini como de otros artistas hacen todavía estupenda esta película.

    "Cita a ciegas" merece ser revisada debido al pésimo estado de la comedia norteamericana actual.

    Format DVD: Leider gibt es diesen Film (noch?) nicht auf Blu-ray, daher musste ich mich mit DVD begnügen. Diese hat aber ein gutes Bild.
    Ton: wird mit Surround angegeben. Habe (noch) keine Surround-Anlage. Daher kann ich das nicht bestätigen. Ton ist aber in Ordnung.

    Walter (Bruce Willis) benötigt ein Date für einen Abend mit einem potenziellen Groß-Investor aus Japan an dem er, wenn auch nicht federführend, für seine Firma teilnehmen soll. Da seine aktuelle (anscheinend nicht sehr ernste) Beziehung keine Zeit hat, nimmt er zähneknirschend das Angebot seines Bruders an, ihm eine Cousine (glaube ich) seiner Frau, die zufällig in der Stadt weilt, und ausgehen möchte, an. Zähneknirschend deshalb, weil ihm sein Bruder bisher keine guten Dates verschafft hat.
    Er nimmt an, da er sonst keine Alternative hat, ist gespannt wie ein "Flitzebogen" und total happy als plötzlich Nadia (Kim Basinger) vor ihm steht. Der Abend scheint gerettet,
    Womit er jedoch nicht gerechnet hat, ist dass sie GAR KEIN Alkohol verträgt. Er wurde zwar von seinem Bruder gewarnt, er glaubte jedoch ein Glas Champagner wird schon in Ordnung gehen. Weit gefehlt. Und der Umstand, dass sie Nadias Ex-Freund begegnen, der sie "stalkt" und ihnen nachdem sie ihm (bestimmt nicht zufällig) über den Weg gelaufen sind. den ganzen Abend verfolgt.
    Durch diese beiden Umstände (Nadia alkoholisiert und die anhaltende Verfolgung durch ihren Ex-Freund) steuert dieser Abend immer mehr auf eine Katastrophe zu. Wie es ausgeht? Schaut selbst:)

    Fazit: Eine durch und durch gelungene, zeitlose Komödie, die man sich immer wie mal anschauen kann, und nichts von ihrem Charm einbüßt.
    Zum Schluss wird sie ein klein wenig albern, und sogar "schwülstig", aber das tut dem Film insgesamt keinen Abbruch.
    Ich habe mich nach Jahren, obwohl ich (noch fast) alles kannte, trotzdem wieder großartig amüsiert.
    Bruce Willis und Kim Basinger sind in diesem Film "eine Bank", und auch der Ex-Freund wird von John Larroquette (u.a. Harrys wundersames Strafgericht) herrlich gespielt.
    Für alle Trekkies: In einer Nebenrolle ist auch kurz Armin Shimerman (Quark von Star Trek DS9) zu sehen.

    Ich sage nur: "Alles in Ordnung, Agnes?" (Kenner dieses Films, wissen was gemeint ist)

    Blind date, "Appuntamento al buio" in italiano, all'uscita venne recensito tiepidamente, e da molti ritenuto un film minore di Blake Edwards, io invece l'ho amato fin da subito, e negli anni ho continuato a ricordare molte delle battute.
    Però all'uscita ero poco più di un bambino quindi ho pensato che il mio ricordo negli anni potesse essersi falsato.
    Purtroppo in Italia il film è tutt'ora fuori catalogo, ma fortunatamente questa edizione inglese contiene sia l'audio che i sottotitoli in italiano, non ne ero certo perché le descrizioni sono tutte fuorvianti, comunque ho tentato e ho potuto verificare, e confermo oltre ai dettagli tecnici, che Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis e John Larroquette in questo film sono un terzetto comico fantastico e la commedia è veramente deliziosa e non sente assolutamente il peso degli anni.
